AFRICAN QUEEN

Confident, elegant and chic.

This collection was inspired by the 1930s Art Deco era. Black Bakelite bangles I purchased at the flea market made me think of the Man Ray’s iconic photograph “Noire et Blanche”. A pale face Kiki de Montparnasse contrasting with a shiny ebony African ceremonial mask. This vision led to the creation of the African Queen set of bangles.
